Waste and supply pipework reworked to suit the new layout, sockets and lighting moved, walls straightened and floors levelled before anything is fixed. Fitting good units onto a wall that leans is how a kitchen ends up with a worktop that does not sit and doors that never line up.
Wet areas built to stay dry
Tanking to showers and wet areas, boards rather than plasterboard where they belong, falls formed properly on walk in trays, and silicone lines cut in cleanly. A bathroom that leaks quietly for two years costs more to put right than the bathroom cost to fit.
Tiling set out before it is stuck
Tiles are set out so the cuts land somewhere sensible, courses line through from wall to floor where they should, and nothing awkward ends up in the middle of the wall you look at from the door. Large format, patterned and mosaic all handled, and grout and silicone colours chosen with you.

Plenty of clients buy their own kitchen or bathroom, and that is fine. We will check the order against the space before it is placed, because the wrong size tray or a unit that will not fit round a boiler is the most common reason a fit out stalls. If you would rather we sourced it, we can do that too.

How long is a bathroom out of action?
A straightforward bathroom refit is usually five to eight working days from strip out to finished, allowing for tanking, tiling and grout to go off in between. A wet room or anything involving moving the soil pipe runs longer. If it is the only bathroom in the house we will tell you honestly which days you will be without it.
Can you fit a kitchen we have bought ourselves?
Yes, and it happens often. Send us the plan and the unit list before it is ordered if you can, because checking it against the real measurements of the room is ten minutes that saves a fortnight. We fit units from any of the usual suppliers.
Do you do the plumbing and electrics too?
Yes, through qualified plumbers and electricians. Gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and electrical work is certified to Part P. Moving a boiler, adding sockets or reworking the lighting are all normal parts of a kitchen or bathroom job.
Can you move the bathroom to a different room?
Usually yes, though it depends on where the soil stack is and what falls can be achieved. Moving a bathroom upstairs into a bedroom or converting a box room into an ensuite is common work, and where a normal gravity waste will not work a macerator or a pumped waste can. We will tell you which one your layout needs before you commit to it.
Will the tiling and decoration be done as well?
Yes. Tiling, making good, painting the ceiling and woodwork and finishing the room are all part of the job rather than something you have to find somebody else for afterwards. The room is handed back finished, not tiled and left.
